Come to the Honeybee Day at Ooltewah Farms Market to celebrate and learn about the important role that honeybees play in agriculture. Weather permitting, the Tennessee Valley Beekeepers Association will have a booth set up with:

• See LIVE bees working inside their hive

Have you considered having bees but were not sure how to get started? Did you want to learn more about the issues plaguing honey bee populations? There will be several seasoned beekeepers on hand to answer these questions and more. Ooltewah Bee Co. will be here with fresh raw local honey from their apiary just down the street, as well as other bee items like beeswax candles and whipped honey. Their honey is one of the samples offered at the Beekeepers' display. So stop by to taste it!
