Dennis Bishop

Dennis Bishop Biography

Dennis is a native of Dayton, OH where he working in the landscape business and later at the Cox Arboretum and Botanical Garden. Dennis is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where he earned degrees in Ornamental Horticulture and Landscape Design (BS), and Plant Pathology (MS). He moved to the Chattanooga area in 2004 and started his Let Nature Happen blog in 2015.

Dennis specializes in native plants and is a landscape designer and consultant in the Chattanooga, TN metro area. He founded Going-Native Landscape Design Co. in 2015 to assist clients with the planning and development of native plant landscapes.
